Things Are Coming Together

I presented my idea for a SXSW showcase today to The Memphis Music Commission. It went remarklably well considering I had no idea what I was doing. They also signed me up to help them revamp their websote, so I'm really excited about that. It's funny how many things don't happen because people are scared to try something new. Everything that I have done in music and writing has all been based on the idea, "Well, why can't I?"

It just goes to show that if you put yourself out there and follow through, anything can happen.

Last night was Brandon's birthday dinner and we got to lay on the floor at Do and eat stawberry sushi and drink saki before we went to Sam Colvin's to climb to the top of her tree house. We are all twelve-year-olds trapped in thirty-year-old bodies.
