Los Angeles, Zune and TMZ

Well, I am in LA for the big Zune party tonight. If you have been following along faithfully, you might remember my rant last month after I traveled to Seattle to demo Microsoft's new MP3 player along with many other popular bloggers.

I arrived yesterday, checked into the super fancy Hollywood Roosevelt, and met up with my co-horts Dodge, Chris, Cesar and Matt in the bar. Cesar had to go to some work function, so we ate and as soon as I realized that they were charging $11 for a well vodka tonic, I talked the guys into making our way out of the hotel to check out Hollywood. When we stepped outside the front door the first two things we saw were Spiderman and Elvis. Then we were inundated by the music of Ricky Martin. Oh, and Chris ran into a Gorilla - Welcome to Hollyweird.

Obviously, Spiderman and Elvis were just impersonators, but Ricky was real and taping an outside show around the corner for Jimmy Kimmel Live. We walked over to check it out and were told that Snoop Dog was around the corner making a video. Can you guess which we chose to check out?

Afterwards, I called Trent (remember when we partied in Amsterdam in February?)

He was headed to the one year anniversary party for TMZ and so we headed over to meet him to drink free drinks, and gawk over a bunch of C-list celebrities. I have a bunch of pictures, but the guys don't want me to post them!

We ran into my old friend MK from Popbytes, and met Molly from MollyGood and we shook our asses to the the "dj stylings" of Samantha Ronson.

Anyway, when we left they gave us these tickets to get a free hamburger and fries from a stand outside the party. So, we sat on the curb and scarfed some food, then caught a cab back to the hotel where I promptly passed out before 1 AM (Hey, I'm on central time!)

I could go on and on about all the shenanigans of last night, but this post is already obnoxious and I am in LA, so I am gonna go have some fun...
